Susan Alexander Susan Alexander — Extension Educator for the following counties:

Susan Alexander is a multi county agricultural educator serving Elk, Jefferson and Clearfield Counties. Her base office is in Jefferson County.
Craig Altemose Craig Altemose — Extension Educator for the following counties:

Craig is an Agronomist working in the Central Region of Pennsylvania. His primary focus and area of responsibility is on Applied Research and Education Programs pertaining to Field and Forage Crops. Craig also serves as the Central Region co-program leader for Agriculture and Natural Resources and is the Centre County Extension Director.
Melanie Barkley Melanie Barkley— Senior Extension Educator for the following counties:

Melanie is responsible for general agriculture in Bedford County. Programs include a variety of topics related to crop production such as grain and forage management, nutrient management, and pesticide education. In addition to agronomic topics, she covers livestock production for adults and youth in the 4-H program, home horticulture, water quality, and pond management.

Educational programming responsibilities include Forage crop production and storage related topics. Corn silage, haylage, hay and pasture management are priority issues. Target audiences include commercial dairy farms, English and Amish. Responsible for program delivery in nine county, Capital Region of South-central Pennsylvania. Base county is Dauphin.

Jeff is an Agronomist providing educational programming in the general areas of crops and soils. Areas of specific interest and effort include No-till cropping systems, Manure and Nutrient management, GMO and other technology traits in crop production, and Pesticide use and safety. His main focus is within Lancaster County but also actively participates with the Capital Region Agronomic Education Team.

Dave Hartman Dave Hartman— Extension Educator for the following counties:

County Extension Director. Dave is an extension educator serving counties in the central Susquehanna Valley area. His primary extension work is in pasture-based ruminant livestock production. He also does work in no-till crop production and livestock/poultry facility site assessment. Dave serves on the board of directors of the PFGC and advisory board to PCO.
Mena Hautau Mena Hautau — Senior Extension Educator for the following counties:

Mena Hautau, CCA, provides programs in agronomy for Berks County. She facilitates programming in commercial tree fruit, vegetable and mushroom production. She currently is serving her third term on the board for the PA Association for Sustainable Agriculture.
